Pradeep Machiraju made his return as a hero with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi, co-starring Deepika Pilli. Directed by Nithin and Bharat and released by Mythri Movie Makers, the film opened with decent talk on Day 1. However, the first-day collections were average, with not many tickets sold initially.
Things improved over the weekend as the film picked up well on Day 2 and especially on Day 3, where it almost doubled its collections in several areas. The first weekend ended on a positive note, but the film’s real test begins with the weekday collections, which will decide its overall box office success.

Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi did Rs. 3.8 crore theatrical business and needs Rs. 4.3 crore share to break even. In 3 days, it collected only Rs. 1.12 crore share and Rs. 1.68 crore gross. Weekday performance is crucial to recover the remaining Rs. 3.18 crore.
